Confused
The words they say shambles my brain,
Making me think differently of others.
They bury their words into my head,
Because I am vulnerable when it comes to you.
You tend to manipulate me when I sense something is wrong.
When I open up to you,
You push my feelings away,
Saying that it doesn’t matter
Or that I am ‘weak.’
And how I’m too emotional for you.
You say that you are there for me,
I could talk to you about everything.
But when I speak,
You shove my words away
To talk about yourself.
Turning me into your therapist.
You keep telling me what I went through,
Didn’t give me mental health problems,
Or depression.
Then you tell me that I am depressed.
One second you lift me up,
Motivating me that I can do it.
Another second you put me down.
I don’t want to talk to you anymore.
But I have no one else to speak to.
You say that you love me,
But your actions say otherwise.
I want to tell you that I love you.
But it feels weird coming out of my mouth,
Maybe because I am still a teenager.
But living with you makes me feel like a burden,
Because you chosen a man over me.
Over your own kids.
But when I come to you,
I just wished you cared a little more
Then just see me as the twins.
I go to the other side to vent my feelings,
And it just turns into an argument of manipulation.
I have nowhere to go,
But you’re all I have.
