Confusion

What if there was an easy way to decide?

Does he love me; does he not: this is always the question.

Do I want him? Am I mad? Those two always bugging me.

It consumes my very being for days upon days.

And then another comes along.

Just as seemingly perfect as the first.

Pretends to sweep me off my feet and then tosses me away.

I didn’t mean for it to happen, he says, as if that will help at all.

Then crying over both – why do guys have to be so confusing?

Why am I so vulnerable to their charm?

Options flow through my mind: forget them; move on; focus on yourself.

But how can I focus on myself when I can only think about them?

Distract yourself, I tell myself. Take a deep breath and move on.

If only there was an easy way to decide.
