Confusion

Confusion takes you on a path
Of uncertainty and concern
It clouds your thoughts in a foggy mist
And makes the truth hard to discern.
Confusion blocks the steady stream
Of confidence and security
And once locked in its harmful arms
It brings in all impurity.
Confusion may be the source of fear
For many plagued with doubt
But there is a single, simple way
To find your own way out.
Be it paper, mother, or friend
There will always be someone there
And once you dispel the fog from your mind
You will be happy you chose to share.
Confusion may be a plague on the mind
But it, too, has doubts and conflictions
And that's why it chooses to unburden on us
All of its unbearable afflictions.
