Confusion

"I don't know"

The only words that come to mind

Because these feelings are so new

You know, the kind you can't define?

I'm trying to find the right words

I'm trying to find the right time

It's like these feelings are so deep

I feel that it should be a crime

And when you're not around

I'm always wishing that you were

And I hope when you're with me

You're not here wishing I was her

Because after the first time around

I started questioning my worth

But I hope you learned your lesson

So now this time we can work

And when I think about it

Nothing now makes sense

Because at first you cut me deep

To the point I put up a fence

But then you knocked it down

Still to this day I don't know how

It's like my heart's run by a monarchy

And you still wear the crown

And it's still something I cant quite wrap my head around

I ask myself sometimes

"Is it love that I've found?"

And if it is what do I do?

It's so new I get confused

Yes it's new, yet I'm amused

My head said "leave"

My heart refused

Even after it's been abused

So if it's love what do I do?

So does it sound like love to you?
