<*>Confusion Empire^*^

Confusion……. Nine letters mixed together Not one idea of weather It was wrong or right Every night Has been silent since The feeling surrounds me like a fence Closing in ever so slightly Nightly The hour plays over in my head Of every word said Breaking each other’s chains Of mixed abounded veins That once twined hand and hand That formed a band That was once thought to be inseparable Confusion rules the night But as much as I fight I stand no ground To it relentless pound I only wish to steal your pain And remove the rain That pours down your check So that you can make it to your peak Peter 4:8…… “Above all love each other deeply” Everyone has a fear of depth Because the thought of theft Of the mind body and sole Fearless I am not I set out to sought Love I found it in the form of a dove That flew out of my reach Opposite of the leach The girl I once knew Set off and flew Out of my life Faster than the knife That struck my most precious muscle Confusion compare to a trestle Two metal bars set off into never-ending nothingness Haunted by past bliss We have come to a fork Both roads foreshadow a spiraling quark With no knowledge of what lays ahead One hint it is said That all roads connect Maybe in the brink of disappointment We will come across an advertisement Of each other down the way Moments upon reconnecting Mind fumbling the right collection Of words to say Or is this just a portrayal of a bay Of denial to meet Will it become a retreat Am I sane Or is this only rain Dismembering my vision to see clear Of what our future will hold Will it be a path of gold Or a pool of misery The fear of the unknown Cannot be expressed in one zone I don’t know which way to turn Is our love a fern Or a plain rose That in time can be froze And shipped off to the next Couple that has a complex Story to tell

This is an amazing poem. You do a great job of making the reader really understand the painful and confused emotions you are going through. The lines "I found it in the form of a dove / That flew out of my reach" spoke to me the most because a dove is a symbol of peace and love and the image of the dove flying away from you was a great representation of that peace and love falloing away from your relationship.
