ConGraduations

Dear Person who sat in front of me in Japanese class ALL 3 YEARS, essay editor and English grade savior, my freshman homecoming date and senior ball date, and "Yuujin"

Celebration full of nostalgia and regret
You walking across that stage, I’ll never forget
How could I forget those 5-inch heels?
And your speech for your class, that somehow gave me the feels

I remember the first time, my first homecoming dance
As my clarinet played an eternal Pomp and Circumstance
Remember the last time? Your last senior ball?
Saddening to know you won’t be with me in the fall

Despite the distance and still not having a phone
I’ll always feel stronger and never alone
Because I know you’ll always be there for me
Sitting in front of me in period three

Thanks for everything and "ConGraduations"

Sincerely,
"Ichiban Daisuki na Kouhai"
