I must be aberrant

i see you and you and you

humans

and viscerally I love you

down deep without knowing you

automatically from instinct

from the earliest racial Memory

when we climbed out of the ooze

but too often

you don't love me back

suspicion

self absorption

ennui

hostility

the stuff of War

and back into the anonymous ooze
