What inspires me?

Well frankly I don't know

Because my thoughts they come and go

Like an abundant river they flow

Or the river is dry as bone

Cold, alone

Opposition inspires me

What inspires me?

Smell, sight, and taste

My mind wanders away

Memories begin to play

As they tangle they become rearranged

All while night turns into day

Time inspires me

What inspires me?

I listen to conversations

People gather in congregations

Chants spread across the nation

Songs are sung in harmonization

Connections inspire me

Everything is connected you see

All that inspiration may be

Is a causal reality

That has created both me and everyone around me

And its seems to be

Inspiration inspires me
