Connected Stranger

Connection is eclectic
Like rivers to an ocean
they all lead to a place
of many wonders
yet the journey
to its depths
is as intriguing as you are
connected stranger
we're like two bodies of water
on opposing sides of this land
we call distance
but that's the only difference
we're both water
i'm salt
and you're sweet
or
maybe it's the other way around
these rivers connect us 
in many more ways than they don't
who is which 
is what i want to find out
