Ezekiel 13:3

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the foolish prophets

who follow their own spirit but have seen nothing!

Connections

When we are bound together

Then surely we’ll understand

That being tied together

Can make a big difference

But in the spiritual realm

Where we can’t measure straight

Than to be bound as one

Could become a major hindrance

To stray in the flesh we comprehend

but to stray in the spirit we can’t

Is not the spirit dead or alive?

Is that not within a reality?

The flesh can drag the spirit down

but the flesh cannot contain me?

I know it can surely influence

and fake me a fatality

“Woe to the foolish prophets

who follow their own spirit”

Who talk fast in circles

about peace where there is none

Proclaiming to have visions

As they reach out for the foolish

So misleading the ones much like self

The ones baking in the sun

Taking actions outside the Will

independent from the Holy Spirit

is like sliding down the mountain

of their own confusion

Heading for the crevice

that they’ll surely inherit

set aside for the dumb and blind

who’re enjoying their own condition
