the conquerer
anxiety from the thought of the next battle
fear of losing more then just the fight
someone's caved in clawing to see the light
confused between beads of sweat on the face and tears running the grimaced cheek
constant bombs dropped and backfires of feelings
the soldier fighting this war are wounded crying for assistance
why are we even fighting
we may never know the true answer to the million dollar question
obsession, greed, power, or just the unwillingness to back down
but we fight for our side and what we believe in
at the end achieving nothing but the death of feelings, friendships, and the small level of understanding
but I fear the loss of none of the above
three things that motivate you to wake up in the morning
I smell your weakness, I taste your fear
the libra scale has tilted towards my advantage
so tonight, we prepare to battle through fear.
hear the sound of the drum. bum buda bum bum
the opponent blinded while my victory has begun
vini vidi vici
