Long ago in a forest nearby Nature sang a baby's lullaby Soon He grew to be a child But the forest grew to be to wild It scared the child to be in danger So he told his father, the forest ranger He went hunting on a cloudy day And told the child to stay and play But on his way he met a bear He tried to run but grew to scared There was a movement in his eye Then he heard his child cry He ran and ran but was to late For the small child met his cruel fate A wild cat without a tail Saw the father then he bailed The father chased him with all his might The wild cat fought but lost the fight The father Found the child again After it began to rain He swore to the sky the cried and cried But sadly his child had died You see for every crime there is A price From then on the father was nice He came to the grave everyday And sung the lullaby natures way To remind himself it would not be long Before he to would hear the song And on the day his last breath came He spoke the word of his child's name He left this world that wasnt vile I know because he died with a smile
