Consequences
I didn’t know this would happen
Suppose this is meant to be.
The danger that is passing me
It burns my surface, shredding to open
This danger is consuming inside
Yet the pain is underneath skin
Suddenly, I realized my actions were sin
My actions were wrong and took a ride
The joyride is over, time for sight
Remember what I should have done
Looking back can never recover anyone…
Favoring bad as I ignored right
Water rolling from my eyes. GREAT!
Preventing the danger would be wise
My reckless behavior could not compromise
My scars telling me “it’s much too late.”
