Consequences

My thoughts wander from thing to thing

Weighing the future that each would bring

Adventure brings sadness, when friends are lost

Excitement brings mistakes, at a high cost

Vengeance brings hurt to friend and foe

Anger breeds anger with people you know

Forgiveness shows mercy, which helps people cope

Mercy shows love, which gives people hope

Love shines a light, on all who will see

Hope gives you courage to break chains and be free

My thoughts wander from thing to thing, weighing the future each will bring.
