Consideration for the contemp

What power do we truly possess in our lives, in anything, other than patience? The power to look before one leaps, carefully choose the words to say, and to simply wait for something you so desperately desire. The past is engraved in history, the future is being made. What may be rushed now may take millennia to repair later. what power do we have other than our words? The power to place them.
