Consistancy.


They say tattoos are an addiction

like crack or cocaine.

But I think we are just in love with the idea that something will never leave us.

In a world where everything is temporary

the feeling of stabilty is thrilling.

I hoped you were as permanent as the ink that dances across my skin

but in reality

you were as temporary as the leaves in the fall.
