Consistency

You’ve said nothing with so many words as actions do speak louder. This thing with you and me is unfortunately, inevitably, absolute. Should I continue or…am I ruining something? Because for the first time, in a long time, I feel nothing towards you. I could try to persuade you I could try to give you reasons to stay But women fall in love with consistency. And lately, with you, I feel like less of myself each day. Castles made of sand fall into the sea eventually. And Strangely, It’s becoming more of a burden for you to kiss me. What do you want? You didn’t even have to think You didn’t even have to try You were so willing to leave me in the blink… Of an eye. Without batting Or…tearing up at the thought. You were so willing to leave me…a little too quick…and I wasn’t going to make you stop. So as my final act of love…I’ve decided to let you go. So you can protect your own, and I can protect my heart and soul.
