Constant Moving Equals Private Life

Ever since I was a little girl, I've been moving around a lot Constantly in a new environment with new people Always making new friends and then leaving them behind It makes you not want to get close to anyone Because the moment you do, they're ripped away from you It becomes harder and harder to connect with others You start to feel isolated from everyone You become extremely shy and feel almost invisible to the world around you And with your family, you are even more distant You never share your feelings; it's always kept inside you And sometimes that can be overwhelming Because you want to be more open with people, but it's difficult The only constant and open relationship you have is with yourself Sometimes you will have a conversation with yourself And no, that doesn't mean you're crazy It's just hard to socialize when you've been moved around a lot But as long as you keep trying Someday you will get over this hurdle And finally feel like you are a part of this world
