Constant Prayer

I lift mine eyes to the heavens
as I humble myself before His throne
sacrificial burnt offerings
Old Testament times are surely gone

Nestled in the corner
hands clasped there I am fed
as His spirit fell upon me
as I came to rest beside my bed

On bended knees I sing His praises
I called upon Jesus who knew no sin
And before I even knew it
my prayer was answered before it's end

So say a prayer in the morning
do pray before you sleep
pray and never cease from praying
if it's GOD you truly seek
