A Constant Struggle

Frustration, trying to hold your anger in but you just can’t take it anymore.

Confusion, how did this happen?

Loss of interest, well I just won’t try anymore.

All these questions sitting in the back of my mind

The same mind that betrayed me so many times before

How do I go on?

It seems as though all others around me are moving forward and I’m stuck in neutral

I try my best and where do I end up?

Nowhere

I study and read but never do well on a test

Go for extra help, and think “Well Kiana, you’re doing your best”

But what do you do when your best just isn’t enough?

When you have done all you possibly could have, and you still fall short?

Education is an essential part of life, so what do you do when you can’t reach your “realistic goals”

Do you keep trying? Or do you lower your standards?

What I’d give to be genius
