Constantly Fighting
You are everything you choose to be,
These actions you take now and then
Will make you realize the truth
You become stronger with every mistake
Pushing forward through your life
You love as if you are loved
By the world itself
But all I must say is:
You’re constantly fighting
A war you can’t win
Losing but not yet lost
So surrender, give in to the light
Seek movement through the storm
Give me your heart
Your love to bind us together
Give it all away
To be beautiful like you already are
Stay strong through the fights
Take the punch don’t throw them
Accept life for what it is
Accept people for who they are
Accept me…
Being cast out and different from the others
Only makes you stronger, it makes you unique
You’re special in your own way
Don’t you ever give up this fight!
You keep moving forward
Push passed the past through this constant fight…
With the laughter of a thousand
With the voices of plenty
My heart already beats for you
Even without seeking you
I’m already in love
Hopeless or not
I will fight this good fight
Because with every heart
There’s love
There’s a fight
Even with the struggles of this life
Weighing me down
And even whenever I have my back up against the corners,
Of this Earth
What I have yet to realize is that
With love comes hope
Then comes the call to endure
The power that moves me is you…
So move me
Carry me upon your shoulders
When I have fallen
Teach me how to rise
How to shine
You are the great unknown that pushes me
It’s why I am constantly fighting
