Consumer Society

Consumer society detaches from reality, Slowly forgetting what was, Concerned with the latest trend, None of which will transcend, Because all materials will fade, Into nothing we walk, Blind leaders show us the way, Upside down and in reverse, Nothing but the latest curse, A shiny car and a forbidden peace, A constant race with everything but ease, Forever clocked in, With guilt.
