A love so sweet, and yet so fragile

Ripe with age, and bittersweet

I cannot bare to part with thee, although it grows senile

Hope that the end, I shall never have to meet

A bond so strong, yet so weak

Radiant in all the sun’s glory

What has become bold and brave began shy and meek

At dawn we wish to continue on with our story

A flame so fierce, it never ceases to burn throughout the night

Although sometimes unseen, it shall never vanish

As though it were right before my eyes, it can never escape my sight

It stands firm and proud and shall fail to perish

Even if our love shall never reach beyond the ears of this land

I am content with just the warmth that comes from grasping your hand
