Content vs Happiness
I distract my eyes from what I'm feeling inside
I use the world as a place to hide
I neglect my soul, as it hosts all of my hopes
I love my intentions and their opposition to "nopes"
My biggest fear? That's yet to be clear
Lots of negativity knoking at my ear
I smell bad vibes from 10 miles away, but my optimistic spirit follows them anyway
Nothing like the rest
I am a different breed, yes, that is obviously something everyone can see,
So can I be the one to invent " the thin line between happines and content"
One is temporary, one is heaven sent
One is in and out, and one is time spent
That distraction I thought was happiness, was content in disguise so once that distraction is gone, I learn to despise
I go back into the world to hide, but here come the bad vibes feasting off of my optimism, the ripping and running is what it feels like to be imprisoned in your own mind, call me crazy, but it's fun
This feeling of being content for the moment
It gives you the opportunity to own it
Now, the answer to that question begins to appear...
What if happiness IS my biggest fear?
You can be happy with being content, but can you truly be content with your own happiness?
