Continuity

Dear Jihan,

why do you continue to do it?

just tell me why so I can just understand.

others have told you otherwise,

and yet you STILL turn the other way; in this way

you get trampled by many, even friends and family,

you get pushed around and left alone to pick up your own pieces

To them not even the slightest bit knowing you are broken

only because and Only Because you continue...

you continue to create a mask, a facade, a shield around your own feelings.

They shall not see it.

They shall not hear it.

They shall not feel it.

that's what you say.

Maybe you are naiive, or blind or just plain stubborn.

You continue to have hope in them. You see the world with such optimism.

They tell you stop. Don't.

I admire your strength in your tears. I admire the wisdom in your blindness.

I admire you being Hope.

Sometimes, I still wonder why

and how

you do it, but I look back sometimes, and see what you see.

You see that there is value in forgiveness. I agree.

Love, Jihan.
