Contradicted

Empty pages full of words, A darkened sky with flightless birds. The deepest ocean, dry as bone, In the midst of a crowd, standing alone. Always together, yet forever apart, Completely in love with a broken heart. Born into destiny, but relying on Chance, Has rhythm inside, but won't ever dance. A peaceful girl in an endless fight, The bravest of souls, crippled with fright. Contradiction is legal, but against the law, Said what I felt and heard what I saw. The chaotic world keeps calmly turning, While we sit idly by, stupidly learning.
