Contrast following a thought

Luke 12:28

28 And if this is how God clothes the wild grass, which is here today and tomorrow is tossed into the fire to heat the oven, how much more will He clothe you, you people of little faith!

Contemplation

Surrounded by darkness … just a single light

Pen slowly moving … following a thought

The start of the day … just around the corner

What it will bring forth … still has to be wrought

It seems so simple … a pattern to be followed

A dream prearranged … or a reality designed

It is not a game … to be played by others

with the foreknowledge … of boundaries confined

The bright and the beautiful … the dull and uncertain

woven in a cloth … to be worn by the saints

The lacking and the plentiful … the filled and the hungry

appearing on a canvas … splashed in different paint

Long lives the contrast … that could have died long ago

Where there is breath … there surely can be hope

All for the betterment … of a civilization almost gone

that cannot change its ways … Yes! It is getting close
