so very

broken

I felt

shattered

into many pieces

I fell

         down
                   down
                             down

down to the place

I was once

warned

My sister

was there

she told me tales of woe

that  d      d      d

             i       i       i
              p      p     p

dripped in the sink

trails of red

as your life    d   r     a        i            n                 e                    d

from where you wanted it to

you see

it wasn't about wanting

to leave the world

it was about controlling what you were given

for once

I dictated what hurt me

and that

felt

good.
