Control


They say that your life

is in your hands

and those hands

carry your future,

but in reality

that future

reflects your past

and in actuality,

that past reflects where you stand.

Whether you achieve, succeed, leave or lead

or whether you fail, mistake, hesitate or recieve hate

that future is not in your hands, indeed.

It isn't so much of what you read or heed

who you meet or what you need

it's more of what you did, read, and who you met

because your future isn't in your hands afterall

it's more of who it is you actaully are
