Control

Control Control We lose sight of the goal amidst the control For history can repeat itself A weary soul vested for it's realization In each human heart the quest for wisdom Wisdom tempered in fire brings strong delusion Living in a world filled with mass confusion Sought to appease a thoughtful rhyme, Control Some will seek to inflate the ego Shaped to withstand the outpouring of devastation That timely embodiment by which to stand One nation under God lest we forget the man A crazed lunatic as a caged rat hidden in a tiny hole Still the thought of desperation neglects to set in Within a strong biblical text The radical at heart would light the spark As I look to the east through the eye of the storm Far out of reach to teach what we are to believe Control Just look at the Willow tree To flourish it's timely sway by nature's warm brigade Control How does one internalize trade logic for fear Through the duration of time We treasured a moment lost among us While dealing with our own dreams & fantasy Yet faith isn't intellectualized it just is Control freaks are deplorable whose god is their belly Wretched undertakers caught with no vice & vanity !
