Control

Acts 24:16

16 This is the reason I do my best to always have a clear conscience toward God and toward people.

Control

Defiled I am through sin and through issues of the soul.

Emotions and affections need to be under God’s control.

All affection, that is not inspired by God’s Will, must quickly fold.

Otherwise, it will turn into fleshly lust the world’s most common goal.

He, who has not died to worldly affection

has not died to anything and that is clearly shown.

Yes, the world around us is a spiritual reflection

that if one does not die to the natural his decaying state goes on.

Before our redemption, our desires intertwined with sin.

In an emotional state, we are controlled by feelings deep within

But now as being reborn Christians, we’re constantly purified by fire

And carnality within can’t flourish: “I seem to be preaching to the choir”
