controlled

people think that others who get their way are the ones who are stubborn and demanding

but thats not true at all

i push for my way like a forieghn fish in a school of bass

to get to the surface

i do not get to make desicions for myslef

nothing is mine

not my close

not my things

not my trinkets and pennies

even my dreams were put there by someone else

i cant breathe

all i want is to be free

to make my own decisions

because i find myself expecting even accepting my fate

instead of fighting tooth and nail to prevent it

as long as im not dead

i keep telling myself

but a life ruled by others is a worse fate-somone who is tired of being controlled
