The Convergence of Pathos

Often times we ask ourselves,

What is the ideal relationship between lovers?

What makes the love between two excel?

How do we tame that love with which we smother?

A relationship is built on love,

The very foundation of human emotion,

That very symbol of the pure dove,

That very sensation that covers the body like a ocean.

Love is interwoven with solid layers of trust,

An element which is established and never tarnished,

For once trust has been crumpled to a fine dust,

It can be partially won, but never refurbished.

Love and trust must come together as one,

Before we can say that our relationship has even begun.
