conversation

To hear a truth to good,

And believe it like a fool should.

I sit here wondering still,

If I were to disagree,

My reputation would you kill?

Such a question should it be,

That I should have to ask at all,

But why should you stand tall,

Firm in your belief,

Yet when I claim my own,

You accuse me of some foul mischief.

Copied words have a hollow tone,

And to hear them echo in one so close,

I’ll miss the days we could talk the most.
