A conversation with God
A Conversation With God:
You accept me even if I don't always accept myself.
You remember me, chose me, and called me,even when at times I feel forgotten.
You encourage me in a world that is so discouraging and depressing.
You know the plans for me even when I want to do things my own way.
You still believe in me even when I cannot believe in myself, either can anyone else.
You tell me to have childlike faith, but my worries and doubt get in the way.
Give me the words to say to let someone know Your name,
Give me the song to sing that will set someone free.
Let the life I live be a reflection of You.Let the words I say and the things I do reflect You.
I'm tired of living like the world
Tired of seeing hurting boys and girls
Tired of seeing pain and sorrow
Tired of seeing no hope for tomorrow
Tired of seeing people reject Your name
Tired of people trying to hide all of their hurt and their pain
Tired of seeing hate and strife
Tired of seeing no love in this life
Tired of seeing so many tears
Tired of seeing no one hear.
Tired of seeing no one understand
Tired of seeing no one care about Your plan
Tired of seeing people curse and hate
Tired of seeing people not caring to appreciate
all You've done for them
Yet you still love us no matter what we've done
You still love us You say the wars already been won
You still love us even when we have done so much wrong
You still love love us and see us as precious and special even when we've done so much to hurt You.
So I say I'm sorry on account of the world.
I want to take responsibility for what has been done
I want the world to see You in me, so can You please forgive me.
