Conversation With Inspiration

Conversation with Inspiration

To Doreen my muse and Inspiration.

If you could interview Inspiration

What would she say?

Inspiration, why are you everywhere

But your voice is soft?

In Inspiration’s world, she is screaming

As loud as she can,

Hear me!

Wake up!

But in our world her voice is hard to hear,

Like when you drive down the road,

The radio is turned down, it is very soft,

But behind the DJ board in the radio station,

The pods are turned up all the way to the red,

As loud as they possibly can go,

The treble is turned all the way down,

The bass is turned all the way up,

The DJ is screaming at you from the radio tower.

Inspiration is screaming at you!

But when you have the radio turned down,

You can't hear!

When you listen to me

Your eyes have diamond facets,

He who listens to my voice

Has different vision of

What am I.  Like visions of god, I

Am seen in many facets,

Jehovah, Buddha, Mohamed, Jesus, Abraham,

I am the woman who inspired the words written

In the bible, in the spoken word of religious

Icons, clearly, they hear me.

You – may – follow

In their footsteps.  Do not

Tune me out,

Turn me down,

Shut me off,

You – won’t – hear – me!
