A Conversation With My Family's Simone

Don't open your mouth for the truth lies with thee. Why not?, time to give the oppressed a chance to be free. Wisdom in the wrong hour is a premature baby Without the doctor, the outcome is wavy. They need to hear it, they need to listen now Fingers are being pointed with conviction, forgetting our very vows. Silence is screaming. The devil is preying. Everything valuable is on the line. I want to help, don't you feel it's time? When the silence is at its peak They, even I am not ready for it to speak Afraid of what it may say. Afraid of who might stray. I learned, only through God, darkness turn into light and shame will conquer everyone's urge to fight. If I do what I think is best, I will look the weakest. It is my job to grit my teeth and listen alone for I am my family's Simone.

This poem is about recognizing how to deal with the issues within my family on a spiritual level.
