Conversations With My Son (Jacob)
D = Daddy
J = Jacob
D: Happy Birthday son you know I'm praying for you, so you can come through this harsh time with love you know that it is true.
J: Well if you love me soooooo much Dad where are you now? You make me so ANGRY I want to Rap P. O. W. you in the face, you are such a big disgrace we all need you here but you want to smoke weed and a couple beers.
D: Now hold on there son you must say sir when you're speaking to me or I'll have to discipline you.
J: Rap P. O. W., Sir.
D: Now Jacob it is not me keeping me away it's your mommy and not it is not O.K. as it hurts me from deep within and pushes me hard to sin but I don't want the police involved. I can't tell you this cuz your a kid, but you are my Hero, son. Don't ever do what I did and use drugs our of love with those demons within. Stay faithful to your wife, greater works shall you do, and I know that you will always come through.
J: Dad I LOVE you.
D: I know, just listen, though. I write all these raps and I sing all these rhymes as bird crumbs of wisdom to you beyond time so that you learn from my mistakes that it is true Jacob I desire to be just like you. You know what I mean? Cuz you keep it real but don't keep it mean. And I will do my best to understand you as I know you are smarter than me too. Jacob you are the beauty of Israel as it was for Israel that I allowed myself to go through hell and fight the fight as the red rider of love upon the wings of a holy dove. I want to explain but I am scared. . .
J: Scared of what Dad? You are scared of nothing. You preached to the ALL and never truly did fall from grace, though I'm sorry for what I said.
D: I forgive you, don't take it to your head, the issue is already dead. Jacob I love you too and just so you know I wrote this on your birthday December 13th at 5:58 am, 2015 too. Now don't get me wrong like I said to you in little soldier. God did not give you a spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind, so let the words of my life mold ya, and hold ya through your own struggles and through your own pains, yo use me as your canvas and my life as your page. And a young child shall lead them till the end of the age.
