convince

When you are cold

and hungry, and scared and tired

your muscles are replaced with steel,

and your river blue veins with wire

You keep your shreds of dignity close

while fighting the walk on

leaving behind only footprints

as you head beyond

You think you can't go on

but, darling, physically you can...

one step more, leaving all behind

... it's your mind you must convince
