Cookie Baking
What kind will it be? You have chocolate pieces, I see.
Well, let's get started!
Measure the sugar, soften the butter,
we won't get far without them.
To augment the mixture, we need some flour.
It may fly out, but don't cry out.
We'll clean it up later
while the oven labors.
Did we leave anything out? I have no doubt
you want to test it and see.
Raw eggs aren’t a concern, you’re having your turn
at being strong and healthy.
Does it pass inspection? I'd better check, too.
Delicious! It’s almost like Christmas!
Now time for the pans,
two will suffice, if we use each at least twice.
No lubrication necessary.
Fill up the pans, but beware;
if there’s more than a dozen, they may cling to a cousin.
We're not making snowmen today!
While they are tanning, you might prefer fanning,
It's getting toasty in here!
The countdown begins.
Oh, savor that smell. Isn't it swell?
Beeeeep!
Sounds like they're done, this next part's less fun.
Before they start cooling, on racks that is,
let them idle for a minute or so.
When they're done resting comes your real testing.
Can you make them glide off of the pans?
If not, don't worry. Don't be in a hurry
to chalk this one up as a failure;
we always need some to eat fresh.
Wasn't that fun? Now that we're done,
we get to encounter the dishes!
