Cooking Love

There is nothing more special than sharing a meal

A family is connected by cooking

Tradition

And the love for a passion.

Home cooked meals pull together families-

String in newcomers-

Foster generosity.

Never in my life have i experienced a greater meaning

Than by simply enjoying the company

Of those who love me

by sharing

A complex chemistry of delicacies.

This ancient art is passed down generations:

Taught by the fragile, experienced elders

to eager, wide-eyed youth.

Cooking takes un-relentless love-

A spirit to experiment; try new things, being fearless.

This idea embodies my family:

It is the tie that binds me to my parents, grandparents, great grandparents,

and so on...

So long as tradition perseveres, This form of love will never die.
