Cooler Than Me
If I could write you a song
To make you fall in love
I would already have you up
Under my arm
I used up all of my tricks
I hope that you like this
But you probably won't
You think you're cooler than me
So cool
So swift
So smooth
Boy, you got it all
Even that front
That ficsade you put on every morning
Just to hide
Yet I'm starting to think
That this role you play
Isn't a role
But reality
The way you look
The way you are
The way you hold yourself
You must have some strong muscles
To carry that big of an ego
You sure do make those girls swoon
If I could make you swoon
Swoon, so that you are drooling
Like the dog I know you are
Too bad you aren't a chick
So I could call you a -
But I can't
So instead
I'll roll my eyes
When I see you walk down the street
Cause
You got designer shades
Just to hide your face in
You wear them around
Like you're cooler than me
You never say, "Hey"
Or remember my name
And it's probably because
You think you're cooler than me
Yeah you are so cool
Look at you
You are your Ray Bans
You and your talk
You and your walk
You got swagger up to there
And insecurities right down here
You look so cool
So swift
Cause you wear your sunglasses at night
[pause]
On second thought
You are so lame
Such a loser with your knock off Ray Bans you got from the swapmeet
I would never write you a song
To make you fall in love with me
Instead, I wrote you this
To call you out
To show you up
So go ahead
Ignore me
Forget who I am
But I will always remember who you are
You are just a boy who has had his heart broken
One too many times
And I am just the girl
That has seen the effects
Conclusion
You are not cooler than me
