Cope

What inspires me?

That is a tricky question

I could lie an say that it is everything good in my world

The beauty of the places I see, the warmth of the people I love, the hope that I have for my children

But I will be truthful, these are not the things that inspire me the most

The one thing that kickstarted my path into writing was trauma

It was my way to cope with my abuse, my fears, my anxiety, and my personal tradgedies

Without my poetry I may have never told my tale

It may not be pretty, but this is my inspiration
