Coping

I warm myself with these words

Preventing myself from getting hurt

And I cannot learn

Because nobody turns

For I am not myself but instead the future urn

And my stomach hurts

From her texts

I cannot check if it was meant

And it hurts my head

To think myself better dead

But my lips stay closed

 I don't want to be a dread

I sing to myself

Because nobody will help

And she's the one who caused my frozen heart to melt

But melted too quick did she

Because this cup of love has hardened in freeze

Believe the words of the late me

I am not myself

A new person I call thee

And everytime I wake up

I shake and quake

And feel that this cannot be real

I should not feel this way so why prevail

Just waiting for my heart to fail.

Thank you for listening.

But our time is near

And I hope you find happiness

Because I am forever in fear
