Coping With 'Coronacation'

When I heard Salmon’s announcement,

It was too bad to be true. 

No school because of the virus,

What am I supposed to do?

From the very beginning,

It was extremely hard.

Senior year cancelled,

Wow, were we dealt a bad card.

Then Larry Hogan announces,

Official quarantine.

No more friends, school, or work,

In order to keep our state clean.

I’ve tried different things,

From reading to learning how to bake.

Now, 1 pm

Is the time that I awake.

I hope this ends soon,

Because we have places to go.

But for now, we’re isolated,

And keeping ourselves at home.
