Copper Penny
So small
Forgotten
Left out on the street
Almost worthless
But not quite
In the jar on the counter
In the gutter of the street
Rained on
Weathered
Beyond it's years
Once a metallic brown
Turning greener with the months
Every man has his money
Every woman has her gold
