Cor
Cor
She screams and gasps
As she rips it out
That unreliable thing
That forever hurts
It is only after
As she looks at it
Sad and shriveled up
That she realizes
It may hold all the hurt
And all the misery
And rip her up inside
But it also delivers
The greatest joy she has ever known
For every heartbreak
There were thousands of mends
She has taken out her every hurt
But she will never feel happy again.
