Core values

Psalm 139: 23

23 Examine me, and probe my thoughts!
Test me, and know my concerns!

To the core

One core value is about trusting,

but in what, if I can’t trust self?

To be honest and straight forward

in truth and commitment to excel.

The road I travel ... I have been there.

I just change the scenery in my mind.

Using people as in a chess game

the bottom line vaguely defined.

I should be filled with concern and patience

truly caring about them all.

With my tongue and mind in bridle

my heart could live and love in call.

So be patient as on life’s pathway

I try to run while I can barely walk.

One thing for sure I long to be better.

Despite the accent this is no empty talk.
