A Corinthian Love.

Small babe crying,

Father's denying

Her very existence

While Mother is sighing

Is this love?

She develops in uncertainty

Basking in apathy

The result of a broken home.

'Love is patient, love is kind'

Is there real truth in this line?

'It does not envy, it does not boast',

Cynicism attempts to capture her as a host

'It always protects, always trusts always hopes, always perseveres',

But where have you been, Lord, all these years?

'Love never fails.'

Yet your Glory prevails,

And I'm on the narrow road to salvation.
