Corinthinian Love
I wait for you
Whether you're getting ready for an hour
Or you're not ready to say it back
Because I love you.
I buy you flowers
And I let you win at Monopoly
I show you it with more than just my words
Porque te amo.
Go out with your friends
I'm proud to be with somebody so strong
I don't own you, but I know that you're mine
I appreciate you.
I don't have to be the breadwinner
I already won because I'm with you
And I'm happy to cook up the bacon
That you brought home after a hard day at work.
I delight in the truth
Knowing how separate and different we are
Connected in two parts by agape
And one part in eros.
